Technical Challenge

Taleigao Community Centre needed even, reliable cooling across a single-storey, 14,500 sq.ft. multipurpose hall — a space that hosts everything from large public gatherings to community events, with no fixed room divisions to route conditioned air through.

We designed and installed a ducted HVAC system paired with HVLS (high-volume, low-speed) fans rated at 154 TR, holding a 24°C ±1°C setpoint with humidity maintained in the 65-75% RH range at 6-12 air changes per hour, run through a straightforward thermostat setup suited to a public multipurpose venue.
